Grade I Fieldtrip Goes to Sky World

On Monday, March 26, 2018 grade I students of SDK 6 PENABUR, as one of the best schools in Jakarta had a fieldtrip to Sky World located in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII). There, they had the opportunity to explore the sky world.

First of all, they were introduced to the sun and the order of the planets in the solar system, asteroids, comets, nebulae, and supernovas. The exploration continued and finally they went into the Indonesian achievement room, where they were introduced about the Indonesian famous in the field of space. Next, the students went to a mission control room that made them feel like they’re at the rocket launch control center. After that, they went into a large room where there was a white rocket replica. They were taken photos together with their teachers and friends. After that, they went into a futuristic space to get acquainted with the future space.

Well, finally their exploration ended in the 5 Dimensional room! Before the show began, the students put on the 5 Dimensional glasses and wore seat belts. During the show, the seats kept on moving following the flow of the screened movie. They watched the film about the train adventure. The students really enjoyed it. They seem to be carried by a train that traveled through mountains, valleys, across the ravine, until finally back to the final station.

After the 5 Dimensional room, the students went into the Planetarium. There, they enjoyed an interactive space. Before returning to school, the children saw the launching process of a water rocket. Finally, the exploration ended and the students returned to school with happy smiles.
